Dr. Peterson joined Irongate Family Practice in 2022. He attended SUNY Cobleskill for his undergraduate degrees in Paramedic and Biotechnology. He then attended Medical school in Syracuse, NY at Upstate Medical University as a part of the Rural Medical Scholars Program. He completed his family medicine residency training in Plattsburgh, NY as part of the University of Vermont Health Network. Hobbies that keep him close to the Adirondack region include backpacking, fishing, hunting, sailing, and skiing. He also enjoys being involved in the community as a volunteer firefighter, and as a team physician for the Adirondack Thunder.
