The clear kayak was an amazing experience. The turquoise water beneath and sunkissing feel- what a combo! I rented a kayak with clear frame from Clear Kayak Adventures. It was a blast. The schedule was unfortunate - it was a windy and cloudy day, at very low tide. But the video still shows what you would otherwise see on a normal day with better sunshine. It think all fish were scared away when the boat coasted only inches above them - low tide. The whole reef was surprisingly uniform in height, not to mention it's just a stone's throw away from the Ala Moana Beach. See videos and pictures.

The experience is like floating across a giant aquarium while catching a tan at the same time. You paddle along spotting fish and turtles, similar to snorkeling but skipping the swimming portion and staying dry - skill dependent. The water’s so clear you’ll wonder if the fish are judging your paddling skills. Overall, it’s a quick, easy, and fun way to explore the island’s natural beauty.

This was exactly the kind of adventure I was looking for! I booked the 4-hour clear kayak rental and it totally exceeded my expectations. The team was extremely helpful in getting me set up and providing tips on where to paddle and what to watch out for. Once I was out on the water, it was absolute magic! The ocean was calm and so clear I could see the reef, fish, and even a turtle swimming underneath me! The kayak itself was really stable and easy to handle, even though I’m not an expert. I enjoyed having the freedom to explore at my own pace without being rushed or stuck in a group. I stopped to swim a couple of times and just enjoyed the peace out there. Everything was smooth from check-in to return. Great equipment, friendly people, and one of the most beautiful settings you could ask for. Highly recommend if you want a little freedom and a lot of beauty.

Great family activity. My wife, daughter, and I had an awesome time with Clear Kayak Adventures. It was easy to get set up, and the staff made sure we were all comfortable before heading out. The clear kayaks were a big hit, especially with our daughter, who loved spotting fish and looking down at the reef. It was relaxing, safe, and a great way to spend time together on the water without feeling crowded or rushed. Definitely a highlight of our trip and something we’d all do again.

Highly recommend, this is a must-do! We did the two-hour 12 noon clear kayak rental at Ala Moana Beach. Right from the start, the team gave us tips on what to look for and where to go, so we felt comfortable navigating the waters. Life jackets, phone cases, they've got what you need. We saw a sea turtle swim right near us almost immediately, and later, a school of small silvery fish that jumped out of the water multiple times. It was magical, and a great active way to see the beach and bay from the water. The water is so blue in the sunlight, and the clear boats feel like riding on glass over a crystal-clear view of the reefs below. Definitely worth it!!
